An actress with talent and poise, Emily has quickly built an impressive repertoire. Currently starring on FOX’s hit series “Bones”, Deschanel plays ‘Dr. Temperance Brennan,’ a forensic anthropologist & novelist with an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim’s bones. The show premieres it’s fourth season on Wednesday, September 1st, 2008. On the big screen, we look forward to Emily’s upcoming cameo in Nick Cassavetes’ “My Sister’s Keeper.” While other credits include “Glory Road”, “Cold Mountain”, “The Alamo”, “Spiderman 2”, “Boogeyman”, and Jane Weinstock’s “Easy.” A member of the Interact Theatre Company, Deschanel’s recent theatre credits include the roles of ‘Emily’ in “Our Town” and ‘Natasha’ in “Three Sisters.” Aside from acting, Emily continues to knock our socks off as a busy and passionate activist - among her devotions are animal welfare, environmentalism and womens’ rights (all efforts that we at GWG strongly support).
